Cannabis: Protecting Patients and Reducing Harm
At The Eleventh National Clinical Conference on Cannabis Therapeutics, faculty from around the world and across the US presented on their state-of-the-art scientific and medical research findings and clinical experiences, as well as cutting edge legal strategies and organizing tactics. While accredited and intended for health care professionals, these conferences will be of great benefit for patients, legal professionals, and the public who wish to educate themselves about this remarkable plant.
Thursday Medical Workshops:
Morning: Medical Cannabis Primer: The Healthcare Professionals’ Handbook (CME/CEU)
Afternoon: Extracts: Demystifying Oils, Tinctures, and Testing
Immediately prior to the main conference, on Thursday May 18th Patients Out of Time offered continuing education workshops. Over the years our pre-conference workshops have given us the opportunity to partner with other, specialized organizations working on medical cannabis, including Veterans for Medical Cannabis Access and the American Cannabis Nurses Association. These workshops are suited for people at all levels, from the novice to the most seasoned. This year, we were pleased to offer the following workshops on Thursday, May 18:
Legal Workshop: Issues in Defending Medical Cannabis Rights (All day – lunch included)
- 6.75 CLEs applied for, including 1 credit Ethics and 1 credit Recognition& Elimination of Bias
Morning Medical Workshop: Medical Cannabis Primer: The Healthcare Professionals’ Handbook (Morning only – lunch included)
- approved for 3 CMEs and 3 CEUs
Afternoon Medical Workshop: Extracts: Demystifying Oils, Tinctures, and Testing (Afternoon only – lunch is not included)

REFUNDS: Our refund policy is as follows: Refund requests received before April 4th are eligible for a full refund minus a $50 handling fee. Refund requests received after April 4th and before April 20th may receive a 50% refund. No refunds are available for requests made after May 4th.
