Nate Jackson

Nate Jackson

Nate Jackson was born in San Jose, CA, and graduated from Menlo College with a degree in Communications after a record-breaking career as a wide-receiver for the football team. He was signed to the San Francisco 49ers and was traded to the Denver Broncos, where he played for the next six years. After his NFL career, which ended in 2009, he wrote two books: “Slow Getting Up” and “Fantasy Man”, which chronicle the on and off-field struggles of a professional football player, including details about cannabis use in the NFL. Nate continues to advocate for athletes, current and former, and for veterans, to be given access to cannabis medication, while fighting to rebrand the plant in the eyes of those who seek to control its use in others. Nate lives in LA.
